Ground Truth Environmental was founded on a straightforward goal:

help people make informed, environmentally sound decisions using real, on-the-ground data.

Owen Brunelle

Founder & Principal Environmental Consultant

Owen is an environmental specialist and wetland scientist with experience across aerospace, manufacturing, biotech, academic, and construction environments. Before founding Ground Truth Environmental, he served as a Senior Environmental Specialist for Triumvirate Environmental, supporting some of the largest accounts in the Pacific Northwest.

He holds a Certificate in Wetland Science & Management from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Environmental Science & Management from UC Davis.

Owen also volunteers as a leader in amphibian monitoring programs in the Seattle region and brings a deep passion for ecology and applied environmental science.
